Library RULES

Library will be open from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Strict silence shall be observed in the library.
Books will be issued only on library card.
Only one book will be issued at a time.
Books will be issued for 7 days only.
If a book is not returned on the due date, an overdue charge of Rs. 5/- will be taken per day.
Loss of library card will entail a fine of Rs. 15/-.
No student should sub-lend his/her library book.
Students are expected to handle the book carefully. If a book is damaged or lost by the student he/she shall have to replace the book or pay two times of its cost.
Marking, writing, underlining etc. in any book is absolutely forbidden. The cost of the book will be recovered from the student for such damage.
On receipt of book the student should examine and report to the librarian damages if any found in it.
Reference books and periodicals will not be issued to the students.
The library card should be returned at the end of the course.
No student is allowed to take out the newspaper from the newspaper stand.
Students have no entry to the stack-room. They may ask for books by writing the name of the author and title of the books desired on a slip of paper.
Students who violate the library rules will be refrained from the library for one month.
Students are supposed to return their library cards at the end of the academic year, failing which a fine of Rs. 100/- will be charged from the students.

No Dues: At the end of the academic session students have to clear all their dues in library & office. Admit card for examination will be issued only after the clearance of dues.
