Dear Heartians,
Glad to greet you all on this worldwide platform of the Sacred Heart Degree College at the heart of Sitapur, UP! We are almost at the heart of Uttar Pradesh. We ought to rise as the heart of this Pradesh, and do our best to raise the hearts of this region to greater heights of human endowments.

As envisioned by our great founder of happy memory, Rev. Fr Gerald, this is to be a centre integrally forming intellectually enlightened, morally upright and healthy leaders championing the cause of truth, justice, peace and love.

With twenty-five years of experience behind us, we look forward to our next phase of growth in this direction, with Viksit Bharat as our desire and determination and global sustainable development goals (SDG) 2030 as our guideposts. We embrace 'Mission Life' as Indian Citizens who are capable of expanding our intellectual and interactional horizons beyond the national boundaries, after the bharatiya heritage of 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' implying 'the earth thus is [our] family' (Maha Upanishad VI.73-74).

We look forward to reaching out to our parents and families, and cultivating Sacred Hearts through our learning-teaching process, through our search for knowledge – ancient and current, and research for creating new knowledge, but always treading the sacred earth with a freedom of tyaag (sacrifice), as the whole world is permeated with the Lord (ishaavaasyamidam sarvam…tena tyaktena bhunjitha Isha Up 1), and hence we ought to spare our time and energy in extending ourselves in service (seva) to the world around us.

May we be guided and blessed by the Spirit of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus (Mtt 20:28)!
